I’m running a bit behind with my outfits for the Spring GYPO Style Challenge, but I didn’t want to skipover these 2 outfits because they’re just so cute! My mom, the blogger behind onceuponatimehappilyeverafter.com, visited this weekend and we had a full day of girl time on Saturday. We spent the day blogging in the morning, going shopping in the afternoon at Target, Old Navy and Charming Charlie’s, working out in the gym in the early evening, taking pictures of our outfits for our blogs, followed by more blogging while watching one of our favorite movies, Midnight in Paris. It was a lot of fun; I can’t wait until we’re both living in the same city again. Here we are playing “Fashion Haus”, as my niece would say:
I wasn’t entirely sure how to style Day 4’s outfit, but this is what I came up with. I exchanged the recommended white tank with a red tank and chose studs over hoop earrings. I think the shoes are really the stars of this outfit.

I REALLY liked Day 6’s outfit. A LOT. It just looks so sunny and happy, don’t you think? I know the mint/teal necklace and watch don’t match any of the colors in the cardigan, but they just seem to go together for some reason…they add a subtle pop of color and make the outfit a bit more interesting to look at. The squid earrings and bunny watch add just the right amount of quirkiness to the outfit.

I would have passed right over that striped cardigan because of the brown in it–never in a million years would I have thought to wear it with a gray tee. And now I LOVE it! You are a style goddess and always love to see what you come up with!

Awwwwwwww!!!!!!!! That made my day, Denise! You always have the most sweetest and encouraging things to say. I was a little scared to pair the cardi with grey, but I was really surprised with the results! The cardi is SUPER soft, too. It’s a great find.

Didn’t we have fun on Saturday? Total girls’ day out and in. Just love being with you and can’t wait til we can live closer to one another. I like both looks very much but that Froyo cardi is just delicious and so refreshing. So glad you put the yellow bag with it and the mint accessories. Just perfect. I love you!
