The Get Your Pretty On Style Challenge – Spring 2015 started Monday!!!! If you are interested in signing up, it’s not too late. Click on the image below:
I had quite a bit of work yesterday, so I’ll be posting the Tuesday and Wednesday outfits together later today. Monday’s outfit challenge tasked us to pair a bright jacket, a grey t-shirt, camo jeans, a long necklace and bright flats. I’m not a camo type of girl, so I opted for grey jeans instead of the camo jeans, and replaced the jacket with a cardigan since it was SUPER humid and nasty on Monday here in Texas. The cardigan, in reality, is a soft coral color…not the blaringly orange hue you see in the pictures. I’ve tried so many camera settings to try and find a solution to the color distortion, but nothing works!!! Have any tips? Please share them in the comments section! I chose a coral cardi because there are hints of coral on the shoes; it adds a pop of color to the outfit, too. Pardon the eyebrows…they look downright squiggly AND fluffy on one side! I must’ve gone a bit nuts with the eyebrow pencil. Here’s what I came up with:
The cardigan is from Gap (old). Here are similar items:
Left – Chelsea 3/4-Sleeve Crewneck Cardigan New York & Company
Center – Classic Knit Cardigan Forever 21
Right – Charter School Cardigan in Cantaloupe ModCloth
The top is from Target:
Short Sleeve V Tee – Mossimo Supply Co.
The jeans are from Target (old). See similar below:
Left – Life in Progress Coated Skinny Jeans Forever 21
Center – Skinny Regular Jeans H&M
Right – Women’s The Rockstar Mid-Rise Knee-Seam Jeans Old Navy
The necklace is from Target:
Women’s Beaded Necklace – Gold/Blue (26″)
The bunny watch is from Charming Charlie:
The bow earrings are from Forever 21 or Charming Charlie (Old)…I can’t remember! Here are similar items:
Top Left – Bright Bows Earrings Charming Charlie
Top Right – Pearl and Crystal Bow Stud Earrings Claire’s
Bottom Left – Crystal Studded Bow Stud Earrings Claire’s
Bottom Right – Bright Tie Affair Earrings Charming Charlie
I hope this inspires you to try out teal and coral together! I think they’re a perfect combo for spring and summer. Great way to adapt the camo pants. Your cardigan is cute whether it is peachy or orange. And I love the turquoise or teal necklace with the color of your sweater, whatever it is. Val and I are wearing yesterday’s outfit today so will be posting that on Friday. Anxious to see your other challenge outfits this week. Even more anxious to see YOU! I love you.

Thanks so much, Shaunacey! I’m glad you like the shoes. I wasn’t sure about wearing them because they’re kind of bright, but they were perfect for this particular challenge. 🙂
